Быў стыпендыятам Міністэрства культуры і мастацтваў: ад 1973 па 1979 год вучыўся ў Вышэйшай школе графічнага дызайну і графікі кнігі ў Лейпцыгу. Атрымаў дыплом па спецыяльнасці кніжнай графікі. У той час у творчасці выяўляў асаблівую цікавасць да плаката (здабыў шматлікія ўзнагароды і прызы).

Быў графічным рэдактарам тыднёвіка «Ніва» і «Параннага кур’ера», кіраўніком некалькіх выдавецтваў, выдавецкага аддзела Ваяводскага дома культуры, выдавецтва Беластоцкага ўніверсітэта, быў куратарам Рэгіянальнага музея ў Сямятычах. З 2006 года мастак (жыў 26 гадоў у Беластоку і да гэтага часу асацыяваўся з ім) жыве і працуе ў Каралёвым Мосце, вёсцы, маляўніча распаложанай на краі Кнышынскай пушчы.
